In December 2010, we were the first port in the world to be awarded certification to British Standard 25999-2 (Business Continuity Management) by the Institution. This followed a rigorous audit process in which our plans and procedures were assessed, and this evaluation confirmed the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls applied to our operational activities along with the effective implementation of risk reduction that safeguards the interests of our clients, stakeholders and employees.
